Diff Change under warranty
Has anyone had there Diffs changed under warranty. I was told that if you tell the dealer you drive off road when you have a recall or warranty work done they change them. I put mine in for the park brake recall and asked for the leaking rear diff seal to be fixed. The dealer asked if I drove off road and because I did'nt know about the diff change I said no (which is currently true!). A sort of quiet recall I have been told!

Interesting.

I just had my rear diff seal replaced and the dealer knows I do a lot of offroad work - no mention of a diff change.

Vehicle is in for service soon and I will ask them about it.

I complained about an excessive clonk after gear change (worse than on my 20 year old defender), and they replaced the diff.
