I don't think so. Mine don't have a cut out , have a look on my gallery.

Mine have a cut out as well.
I don't have pitcures with me at the moment but can send some later if needed. |

Senior moment. Just been out to the garage and mine DOES have a cut out around the exhaust, sorry about that.

My 300 Tdi doesn't have the cut-out in the rear LH flap and the exhaust doesn't need it.

Mine didn't have rear mudflaps when I bought it but when I went to an LR parts dealer he told me these were the correct genuine flaps for my vehicle. 10,000 miles later and they have no soot on them so no problem with where the exhaust exits

Would it matter if I put one on my Puma that doesn’t have a cut out? As I prefer the full flap look Thanks Jim.

Yes, as the end of the exhaust will be pointing straight at it, like this:
