2016 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Keswick Green
When I first inquired about getting the paint remedied some time ago I was told that it would have to be taken to Cambridge to be assessed and dealt with from there.

Now Ipswich have gained the approval for the work by JLR and it went off to a bodyshop in Norwich on Friday; most probably to The Bodycentre if they are JLR approved. FWIW Lindacre also said that they used somewhere in Norwich for their paint work.

No wonder I can’t get my paint warranty work done if every man, dog and LR dealership in east anglia are using them Rolling with laughter

I believe they are part of Delmonte’s Garage and they always used to have a very good reputation round here for bodywork and paint. It’s definitely not the biggest body shop in Norwich.

Obviously they can only do what they are paid to do, but I will be interested to hear what you think once your truck is returned.

We haven't got the Defender back yet, but quite happy to keep the D5 a little longer.

Gave in to temptation today and went in to see what it might cost to change. They offered a very good discount on a MY19 SE/HSE D5 from stock.

We got the Defender back yesterday. The paint work is excellent, they have fitted new seals to the doors and aligned them better than the factory. All mechanical stuff fixed. We are still waiting for the side steps and the communications was a little lacking but no big deal with everything else being spot on.
