A quick Google suggests that all of those codes refer to Transit engines. Darren

It has a Ford ZSD-424 (2.4ltr)
Or a Ford ZSD-422 (2.2ltr)

The other codes you've posted probably relate to minor differences in ancillaries, like the high AC compressor on the Defender. And in effect tell you little more than what vehicle the engine was destined for after it left Dagenham. So if you're looking for a replacement engine you wont find the right code unless it came from a Defender.

So long as you pick an engine of the same capacity and from roughly the same age Transit as your Defender it should fit fine. You may have to swap over things like the cam cover, which has a different oil filler depending on the engine's intended use.

Ok, thanks.
I have to explain.
After replacing "original" VCV and PRV with Denso valves, it failed to make pump relearn with Land Rover diagnostic tool.
Tried many times (the engine temperature was correct and the car have been driven for 2 h before that).
Then tried to make same procedure with Ford tool - success at first try.
Then made successful pilot relearn with Land Rover tool.
Problem is that with Ford tool the only choice of engine codes for pump relearn was
H9FB, H9FD, JXFA, JXFC, PHFA (but no ZSD-424), so we picked randomly H9FD.
Now I am feeling uncertain because engine sounds different.
If there is choice of engine codes for pump relearn, then it must be some difference.
Sorry for long and confusing post. Embarassed

it shouldn't make any difference if you did it with a Land Rover tool. It will sound different because it probably wasn't running properly before, but it is now.

Pump relearn was made with Ford tool, and after that injectors pilot relearn was made with Land Rover tool.

The ECU will do the injector learn over time by itself even if the pilot correction is not done or has failed. If the pilot correction fails it logs a fault code about the pilot learn not done, but the fault will clear itself over time when the ecu completes the learning procedure. It just takes a longer time. It happened to me after changing the VCV. Successfully did the pump learn, but when I tried to do the pilot correction it did not finish and failed right before the end. Probably because of a faulty EGR. Anyways, the fault about pilot correction not done, disappeared by itself after a couple of days driving.
