Hello all,
I'm hoping you can help me.
I got the hooks that was missing and fitted once I came back from holiday in Cornwall. Already had the the hood fitted and no issues there.

However, I took the hood off to do some jobs upon refitting the hood I fitted the new hooks in the holes as shown in the first post. Hooked the cab side down with the plate and couldn't get the straps to fit about 10mm too short.
Got the drivers side fitted with hardly any play left on the strap, the other side would not go on and as I pulled it down it just snapped off.

The company I bought it from said to send back for repair at our cost of £45, there have been a couple of emails back and forth with pictures of the hooks.
They have said they should fit and that my vehicle is not standard size and that's why it don't fit. But they were put into the right holes!

They are now saying want paying for the longer straps and sending it back to me.

Before I reply I would like some advice, please see pictures attached.

Many thanks
Ronald Stanley

If I look at an old photo of mine, the staples seem to be at the same place. I had a standard hood which fitted correctly.
