United Kingdom 2005 Defender 90 Td5 CSW Tonga Green
Colour code on green td5 90
Having purchased my vehicle last September i was told it was Tonga green,since then a couple of people admiring my truck have said it is not Tongs green but is a shade lighter.I googled it and tried to identify the true colour.In the end i rang landrover dealer gave them the chassis number and guess what it is tonga green.
so my question is is there a variation in shade even with the correct colour code.
By the way the paint is in very good order ,nearly mint i would say

I don't think it does, but paint colours do vary considerably depending on lighting conditions.

Any chance it's had a respray and been painted slightly lighter?  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

As foer a respray i hope not that would suggest problems i think as a 2005 car it apppears to have been very well looked after
