Unfortunately the state of the Sharan means it's going to be built a bit faster and cheaper than first planned, then spend some time and money doing all the really fancy bits onc it's on the road.
One thing I am fairly certain of is that given a budget equaling that which you spent on your truck I'd have a very nice vehicle that would last a long time. However, as I'm doing it on the cheap it'll be a little more restrained. Either way I really can't wait to have a CSW back in the family. For those who are interested in such things, I'm also planning doing it out with a 7 seat interior, hopefully with leather seats etc from an ES spec Disco. I'm also considering a wee experiment utilising the Disco heater core, and see if I can make it a bit warmer in there without resorting to the latest setup.
