[For Sale] One Owner, Low Mileage Freelander 2 GS 2.2 TD4 -

Hello all,

I’m selling my trusty road car that I’ve owned from new - it’s in showroom condition inside and out with a full service history. It’s priced to sell quickly as I’ve bought another toy and I need the space. This car has never been used off road.

I am the first owner of this immaculate Freelander 2 TD4 2.2 GS fitted with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

I bought this car new in March 2011 from a UK official Land Rover Dealer when I retired and I am the first registered keeper

This Freelander 2 has been totally reliable and very economical too. I average over 40mpg and this rises to mid-40's on motorway journeys. It's a quiet cruiser and rides really well on its replacement Goodyear Wrangler tyres to original factory specification. The first set lasted 45,000 which is a reflection of a well maintained car and my modest driving style.

It's passed every MOT and has a full service history with an annual maintenance schedule at main dealers or reputable Land Rover specialists. The current MOT is valid until March 2019.
Only 68,000 miles from new, backed up with MOT's and service bills. It uses very little oil - I have used just over 1 litre topping up between services over 7 years!.

Absolutely no accident damage EVER. Unmarked bodywork and excellent interior. The cars paintwork was protected from new using the Autoglym lifeshine polish system with hi-tech coatings to keep the paintwork fresh and very shiny. It has been cleaned only with Autoglym products. It still gleams

I own the car outright and it's free from any finance

I loaded up the car with factory fitted Options.......

- Santorini Black metallic paintwork
- Tailgate roof spoiler
- Full sized alloy spare wheel with brand new unused factory specification tyre
- Heated front seats
- Heated front windscreen (fast clear)
- Headlamp washers
- Automatic lights
- Rain sensor wipers
- Rear centre armrest with storage & cup holders
- Privacy glass from B pillar
- Body side mouldings
- Front parking aid
- Mud flaps front and rear
- Fixed height tow bar with twin electrics (used for garden trailer only)

In addition, the car is fitted with fused power supplies for a dashcam (not included) and SatNav (not included). These were fitted by a qualified auto electrician.

I also fitted a luxury carpet mat set (including the boot floor) from new, so the original carpet has never been used and is factory fresh.

I doubt that there are many (if any) better one-owner, low mileage Freelander 2 GS in this condition with such a comprehensive specification and service records.

I have bought a new car last month and didn't want to part exchange the Freelander. I decided to sell it privately which is a better deal for all parties

Happy to allow any AA / RAC type inspection for a serious buyer as I know this car will stand up to scrutiny.

This is a private sale at a realistic price - No traders or canvasser please.
