Whereas Oxford welcomed Colin Dexter with open arms..........

That probably says a lot.

The Boat at Thrupp was very nice. I went there. Never saw Morse and never witnessed any deaths which was mostly a good thing.

When I moved out of London it was a very close, 50/50 call if I moved to Birmingham or the French Alps. Honestly.

If you're thinking about Birmingham again with the Alps being a little too quiet let me know and perhaps we could a swapsie Mr. Green

You may think it is quiet here, but I saw a fight no less than five years ago and also witnessed road-rage between two farmers who had met face to face on the same road moving their cattle. Dangerous times my friend, dangerous times Thumbs Up Monsieur Le Grenadier

Too Kind. I'm not sure she's done yet. As per Daisy The Double Cab thread, I'm thinking a roll cage at least. Plus a s***-load more Rolling with laughter Monsieur Le Grenadier

Nope. I'm thinking more of a 'ta-dah' moment Thumbs Up

I suppose I could start one, but I don't have any photos of when she was purchased, pre-Bowler kit being added, as it was done the same day. Monsieur Le Grenadier

thinking of eating out.....

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-44595967

not that it's mentioned in there but I used to enjoy Pizza Express until I found out that they like using Hal al meat. Stuff that.
seems like this is a common thing now and I'm sure a lot of us are eating it now unknowingly.

seems like the world is a changing to satisfy the requirements of 'others' ie those that have different ideas to what the norm was here 50 years ago and being old I don't particularly like change

yeah funny one that. I think Kabul is a district on the fringes of Birmingham so probably comes under Birmingham rather being named individually Laughing
