Eezi Awn K9 roof rack
Hi all.

I’ve done a search but no luck.

Does anyone have experience with this rack/know of anyone that does etc? I like the fact it has 6 legs on each side plus its modular design, but I’m concerned it’s alu and whilst I’m sure the tray is strong i have heard lots of horror stories about the strength of the fixings/legs on alu racks.

Alternatively the Safety Devices rack (not the G4) looks good but they look harder to pack than modular designs.....I’m a newbie!

Thoughts welcome

Mark

I have no experience the stated rack but I do have a Hannibal rack which is all aluminium, prior to my ownership it was heavily used for overlanding and is now 8-9 years old and still in great condition nothing structurally broken just some paint flaking and bubbling. The Hannibal racks also have a full length bar that sits in the roof gutter which spreads the load of the legs.

*edit* to add photo, if it helps

The other advantage Hannibal racks have is I think the legs/feet are chunky cast aluminium rather than folded bar that a lot of others use. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
