Now I do like the look of your USW Thumbs Up Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.
Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW.

[Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc]

I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic.

The HD suspension package comes with those rims, but mine has standard suspension. I may upgrade the springs if needed in the future. 2011 110 USW

Nice truck! I hope you are as happy with it as we are with our Baltic Blue 110 USW.

Just a quick point - I think you may well find that you already have HD suspension. When we considered the HD suspension package we were told that the 110 (N1 classification) came with HD springs and HD axle case so not much point in spec-ing them! 2 x dealers did not know this but LR customer service did the digging and confirmed it (Albeit by phone).

The only 'odd' thing is that the wheel studs are 'short'. I had this issue the series 3 I am rebuilding. Ambulance studs sorted it out...

Awesome looking truck mate, evocative of the 1 ton with those tyres as you would probably agree being passionate about them yourself. Parksy of the OLLR bunch had a one ton with that type of green but for the 60s era Thumbs Up Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"

I would Reply:
"Duratrac"

The dealer confirms that the studs are the correct type for those wheels...
As to HD suspension, I'm not sure, the HD 110s at work sit a bit more upright, and thats with winches on, would be interesting to know.
I am indeed familiar with Parksys replica, nice job he did too, and indeed some element of the vehicle is intended to reflect the old 1-Tons...

Pastel Green, lighter than Keswick - I nearly bought Parksy's but came across mine instead. Lovely looking motor Thumbs Up

Well we went and collected the big green thing this evening, ran back totally trouble free, its very impressive at cruising speed, nice and quiet with plenty of grunt. The stereo is also excellent!

Thanks so much to Jeremy and James at Park Royal for all they have done, I can't recommend them highly enough! 2011 110 USW

Looks good in with the lorries.

Done about 300 miles now, no issues, although I am struggling to get used to the clutch and gearbox in low gears especially, will just take a bit of time.
