Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

The HD suspension package comes with those rims, but mine has standard suspension. I may upgrade the springs if needed in the future. 2011 110 USW

Awesome looking truck mate, evocative of the 1 ton with those tyres as you would probably agree being passionate about them yourself. Parksy of the OLLR bunch had a one ton with that type of green but for the 60s era

The dealer confirms that the studs are the correct type for those wheels...
As to HD suspension, I'm not sure, the HD 110s at work sit a bit more upright, and thats with winches on, would be interesting to know. I am indeed familiar with Parksys replica, nice job he did too, and indeed some element of the vehicle is intended to reflect the old 1-Tons...  2011 110 USW

Well we went and collected the big green thing this evening, ran back totally trouble free, its very impressive at cruising speed, nice and quiet with plenty of grunt. The stereo is also excellent!

Went and collected my trailer today.

Done about 300 miles now, no issues, although I am struggling to get used to the clutch and gearbox in low gears especially, will just take a bit of time.
