ABS on a Defender? What a joke. But the TC is without any doubt extremely useful

my 90 skips and skids nicely on man hole covers etc. abs would stop that.
you can pull the fuse on a td5 if you want to disable the abs for snow etc. although, abs in the snow isn't a problem for me |

You get TC, you get ABS, as it is one box. |

For me its a no brainer at £765, it used to be a £1500 option on new but with the change in the taxation brackets etc,etc it came down in price. Dont ask me why.
ABS is a great safety feature and the first time you hit that pedal hard and instinctively steer out of the way of the danger that £765 will be money well spent. ETC is simply amazing as an off road aid and of course fantastic in snow and ice. Remember that it will reacte a damm sight quicker than a human. If you watch a Freelander 2 work out off road then you will simply marvel at its ability due to ETC. Our new county is ordered WITH it. Go for it. ![]() |
