Probably! Most growers use specialist lights that are not that expensive and readily available and run off 240v. You know what the DM is like! Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Having read many a news story on these cannabis farms it also appears that they steal the electricity used to run the lighting heating and whatever else is needed. There have been a couple of incidents local to me where people have rented holiday cottages to grow the 'weed' and as far as I know with 240 volt systems using stolen electric. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Curious that the Disco pictured has had the rear lights stolen. Do cannabis plants like red or amber lights? Perhaps they need the red lights to incubate criminal foetuses.

I think that this may be a Daily Mail thing.

I am surprised the DM did not mention house prices, wheely bin collection and urban foxes, oh and Jeremy Clarkson... they appear to be their favourite topics.

Haven’t checked the link. I refuse to line their pockets by falling for their click-bait but odds on, if it’s in the Daily Mail it’s made up nonsense.

Same here, terrible hate filled rag. If I find a copy at work I throw it strait in the bin, it's as bad as the Express.

I wouldn't be surprised if it`s true. After all, it`s led lights being used nowadays. For getting cannabis I think you`d need a little bit stronger light, but for just the clones it would probably be sufficient. It`s no different than what ypu`d do on a farm or in your green house growing veggies. And for the price of some of these lights, and light quality, I´d be even less surprised.. Laughing

Is the cannabis being grown by illegal immigrants who walked through the channel tunnel, claim social security and get a free council house and marry our daughters?

Just asking

I once read a story about a family renting their house out, while they were a way. I cannot remember the full details but when they got back, the people had rented it, had stripped the full house and converted into a massive weed growing factory. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
