Seized ABS sensor removal
I am stripping my Defender 2000 Salisbury rear axle for cleaning and swap to new chassis and am trying to remove the ABS sensors. Both sensors are properly seized into the end of the axle casing. The little copper bushes are in there somewhere!

Can I use a bit of wood on the outer part of the sensor and "whack" it out or will this damage it? I don't want to have to buy a new set due to cost if can help it. Is there another way of doing this. Grabbing the rear portion and wiggling it out probably won't work.

Thanks for advice

Just get a pry bar and put it under the lip and lever it out. If that does not work vice grips and twist it out. If you damage it, replace it. 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris)
