part ordered and here tomorrow, MSE, whats the reprime routine/method, whats involved...i just don't know.
from the manual the LR method for running out of fuel, is refuel and then with foot on brake, crank over on regular intervals. other issue: spoke to D44, the metal sleeve in the OME top bush was for packing out the through-bolt on the swivel mount, as stock it doesn't come with any inner sleeve, therefore two sockets and a vice, it came out a treat. now the shock with a little squeeze fits sweetly onto the original mount... ![]() one snag down, one to go, hopefully be mobile again... ![]() |

I would try that with the filter full of fuel
Technically there is a special tool - AndrewS made one and i noticed Unipart had one on the shelf. Personally just firing it over with a good amount of fuel in the filter and leave it to sort itself out. WHen you run out of fuel...you dont actually run out fully of fuel like you will (eg fuel pipes and filter empty etc) Mike |
