well it's clever, and probably easier than an oil syringe. but I can't help thinking just using a garden sprayer with the end chopped off the pipe would do the same thing.

Overall you will find it hard to beat one of these,

Garden sprayer works. I enjoy making stuff and this cost me nowt as I scrounged the pan and had all the other bits. That Castro’s pump is a great looking bit of kit.

I guess it would thin the oil and make it easier to transfer!
You could bung some chips in the leftover too. |
