I had to move my caravan today so took a couple of pictures ,I backed up at a light angle and hooked up with the back door open .

It’s a lot easier hooking up the foreign vans with their longer A frame.
Lots more room between rear door & van front. We are thinking about going for a foreign van next just for this reason. Better built to ![]() |

On my Defender the Red plastic Alko handle fouled the spare wheel so I just took the handle off. All this means is that you have to push down each leaver independently. I have done this for the last 10 years with no problems.
