Friend has it lying around...
Was used many moons ago for off-road trials, complete with log book Was thinking patch it together and put a 4bt in? There’s something similar doing the rounds already online... Worth a punt or for the scrap heap? Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Not the right question really . ............are you intending to lovingly resurrect a lost soul back to the land of the living as long as it doesn't make you a pauper in the process.....or are you doing it to make money? If it's the latter I don't think you will make enough money to warrant the effort. |

If you can get it cheap enough?
I personally would break it, front panel is worth a few quid on its own. Screen, bonnet, tub, cappings, all adds up. Plenty of folk after these parts 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

I would tend to agree with Ian, it looks like a bitsa and pretty Fubar, so the value if you could get it cheap enough are in the S1 bits.

My question was more along the lines of it’s just a standard s1? Nothing old and desirable ?
I think it’s priced about 2k which is a bit much imo.. Had thought about maybe sticking a 4bt in it and using it as a summer run about... Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

I think it should be saved if possible. Has it got a log book? that could make a difference to any rescue mission though. Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

Looks like an old hybrid to me, series 1 body on a cut down Range Rover chassis. Me personally I would try and save it, but as above there are some nice bits there still if you do break it

If it was cheaper, buy it and do absolutely anything you like with it (trialler would be my favourite).
Whatever you did, it would not be a loss to the Series One world, which is already well populated. If it was cheaper..... |
