She's not as pretty as she looks Mash... A lot of bodged repairs, so we're pretty much looking at a nut and bolt rebuild

I guess everyone with a 300tdi is at the stage of having completed or just about to start a rebuild! Keep the pictures coming.

Cheers William, it'll probably end up as another ragtop convert .. that'll guarantee a wet summer next year.
Afraid beauty is only skin deep Greeni, it certainly had one seriously ropey MOT to its name. Cheers Neilios, I'll keep the pics coming, unfortunately lost most of those from the strip down... but it was the standard range of pics... dust, muck, s**te and lots of mucho mucho knackered parts Last edited by under_rover on 3rd Aug 2018 7:31pm. Not sure HK07, but will certainly be pushing for finishing by March at the latest.... this'll be replacing the 110 as a beast of burden... So here we are following a few days of a little light spannering

That's one of my pet hates, people bodging stuff! I have had to correct other peoples ups with mine. Who ever has worked on this in the past hasn't had a clue! Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

Can't see the sense in it either Procta, some tasks probably cost them more in time and cable ties than it would have done to do it rightin the first place.
