TD5 or Puma? The Relay you can easily find by putting on an indicator and you will feel it click. I have RDX lights and relay. Over the moon with it. You can adjust the flash rate on a knob on the relay. And also fine with trailers too. Set the relay at engine running voltage too. Especially if on a puma. 👍🏻 No Guts, No Glory.

When the engine is running charging current voltage with the alternator running will be around 14 - 14.2v.
At rest the voltage without the engine running viltage will be around 12 - 12.4v.

The Electronic relay's are quite sensitive and as you will be using your indicators etc with the engine running set the flash rate with the engine running at that voltage.
That will give you the best flash rate and at a point just enough to turn of the trailer light on the dash.
(You adjust the knob just enough to stop the trailer light in dash flashing all the time with indicator on.
It should flash once if not at all only.
And flash if a trailer indicator load is present only.

Thumbs Up

I have RDX, I believe the Relay is the most popular and I have the RDX lights too.
Although the Wipac are good too.

Just my choice abs I've been very happy.
Bear in mind Brendan also dies LED side repeaters too you may be interested in. Thumbs Up No Guts, No Glory.

I fitted Perei LED 95mm NAS style indicator
lights today along with the RDX relay.
The procedure for setting up the relay was to switch on hazard warning lights then rotate the RDX ant - clockwise until the trailer light stopped flashing this did not happen.
The engine was running whilst doing this.
Anybody else experience this?
The trailer light does not come on when using indicators normally.
I have yet to try plugging in the trailer lights. 2016 Defender Landmark 90
