Plenty... i was the Scottish fitter for 4X4 Hire from 1976-1978, i have owned 8 Land Rovers of my own.. i ran a fleet of Land Rover pickups in Iran for Christian Salvesen for 3 years and ALL of them had many, many faults and loose bolts on delivery.. Propshaft bolts loose, main earthing straps not even mating up, loose jubilee clips on vital water and air intake and turbo pipes, loose wheel nuts, over tight wheel nuts, body and engine compartment bolts slack, tyre pressures at 60+psi, starter motors loose, anti freeze leaks, body to chassis and radius arms under torqued.... The worst one was 2 new 2001 Defender TD5's with over 20% loose bolts on under body components.. Dealers PDI does not include a spanner run or torque checks. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

I'm afraid I can offer no comments regarding PDI etc, but I took a trip down to look at the green beastie today and was massively impressed - build quality looks good, it looks mean and purposeful, those wolf rims with the MTRs *really* are the icing on the cake, it just wouldn't have been half the vehicle had it been on standard steelies. It also has ABS and T/C which I forgot to mention before, as well as the full tow pack. I may upgrade to an adjustable hitch at some point in the future.

So all the paperwork is done now and I just need to collect it on Wednesday... 2011 110 USW

A nice Defender that, And chequer plate on wing tops was invented to hide elbow dents.. had it on my TD5 and it is just a mess when removed, it ruins good panels. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

I found that the wing tops were always getting things rested on them - coffee cups, tools, etc so they wing tops were worth it. John

I've decided it will be getting front flaps and interior mats for the cab section, they will be on/in when I collect. 2011 110 USW

I wouldn't want any clones running around now, but I can't fault your good taste! Laughing

More seriously, I think the USW is in so many ways the ideal Landrover, with space enough for 5 in comfort, and secure storage in the back away fro prying eyes and sticky fingers. 2011 110 USW

Erm, its a base, but the only base bits are the vinyl carpets inside. Its actually closer to an XS internally but with cloth rather than part leather seats. 2011 110 USW
