I certainly don't think so but then perhaps it's just me struggling to keep up with the new and beautifully diverse world we live in?

Caterham, I don't think that scenario is the new world that you speak of. I think it has existed forever.

Thanks to God I've clearly lived a very sheltered life
![]() I think it's a bit like cancer......is it not far more prevalent now or is it just that it's diagnosed and publicised ? |

Sadly, the sexual abuse of children and women is an age-old problem. However, the good news is that the 'New World' that you speak of is addressing this and people who have been abused are no longer dismissed but are listened to and given help where needed and the perpetrators who commit such vile acts once proved are dealt with now by the law severely, rather than in the past where the charges were relatively ignored, you just have to look at the Savile case for proof of that. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

I know this falls into the 'abuse' category but children with your own daughter !!
that's another league to Savile - at least I think it is. |

Reminds me of a story out of the UK I heard within the last couple of weeks. A woman had been molested by her father for years and when she got older she killed him after finding nudes of herself that he had taken, and buried him in the yard. She avoided anyone finding out for many years until welfare checkers got suspicious and uncovered her plot.
If she can prove she was molested I say live and let live and her father can rot in hell. I've never been a fan of turning the other cheek. |

Absolutely categorically wrong on every level.
4.5 years -REALLY? I do not know of any culture or religion that deems this acceptable to do this. As stated the children have medical issues which are more than likely both ongoing & life limiting . I am not sure what a fitting punishment or deterrent should be & the age of the accused is totally irrelevant. Guy May your life be like toilet paper ; long & useful. |

not sure if this is the Leeds / Huddersfield that we know in the UK or another part of the world. if its the UK then clearly it's normal behaviour .....
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-45193514 now I'm sure some of you will try and jump on the racist band wagon but take a moment and consider how often we see Sikhs and Hindus in the news - rarely, yet would it not be right to suggest they're of the same 'race' but clearly have a very different outlook on life? something is very wrong somewhere and I think it's culture not race. but then making women hide themselves is perhaps a clue as to the issue. ![]() |

" ... I think it's culture not race ... "
Couldn't agree more, so many times this old banner of "Racism" gets waved about when in reality the issues and the attitudes and teachings are indeed of a cultural origin and should be addressed as such without fear of getting into the whole "R" thing. If this is what "multiculturalism" brings to us then it has no place here. |
