1953, I think, a late 80 . Spot welded front wings.
Very nice, and looks in pretty good shape! A great acquisition! |

Cheers Ian that’s very kind of you, the air cleaner part was very well recieved Not sure about the tyres yet as all Ozzie Series 1 AFAIK were all fitted with bar grips. Interestingly the wheels are all stamped with an Australian mark but with the correct Rover part number. |

Although I dealt with the guy quite a bit in Oz it was actually imported by a guy in the UK, so I’m not overly familiar with the actual process. Someone I know in the S1 club imported an 80 some years ago and arranged shipping themselves and from what I remember it wasn’t too difficult. |
