just arrived in the Garage
This little fella from Australia has just arrived in my garage, plan is for a sympathetic re-commission and no painting of the body panels. Was a one owner Oz farmer and used for crop spraying in a very dry part of the country prior to being repatriated.

1953, I think, a late 80 . Spot welded front wings.

Very nice, and looks in pretty good shape! A great acquisition!

No not one of Marc’s. I dealt with the guy in Oz who bought it from the farmer.

Cheers Ian that’s very kind of you, the air cleaner part was very well recieved Thumbs Up Not sure about the tyres yet as all Ozzie Series 1 AFAIK were all fitted with bar grips. Interestingly the wheels are all stamped with an Australian mark but with the correct Rover part number.

Although I dealt with the guy quite a bit in Oz it was actually imported by a guy in the UK, so I’m not overly familiar with the actual process. Someone I know in the S1 club imported an 80 some years ago and arranged shipping themselves and from what I remember it wasn’t too difficult.
