Whats this sensor for? 2.4 tdci

blue sensor at bottom of engine. Right hand side beside dip stick pipe. Nothing plugged into it??

Oil level sensor used for other applications of the engine. Not used on Landrover.

When I first saw the post I was tempted to suggest it was a rust sensor which was disconnected because it kept going off Whistle Life is short, so have your pudding first
