Morning all,
Dont want to get into details of why i am asking yet, but has anyone ordered Genuine injector copper washers in the last 12months or so? If so, how were they supplied? (E.g. individually bagged in LR parts bags etc.) Thanks, Steve[/url] 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |

Yes, I bought a full set of five washers a few months ago, I will have a look this morning and remind myself how they are packaged.
I will report back |

I've got a set for the puma and they're individually bagged. Along with the 2 rocker bolts.
I just have no Puma. |

Thanks all,
I purchased a set of washers and orings in February this year from a well known supplier. When delivered the orings were delivered individually packaged in LR bags but the copper washers were sent with all 5 in a clear plastic sandwich type bag with a knot tied in in it. I contacted them immediately to query this and was told that LR now supply them in larger bags and that they were definitely genuine. Fast forward to this week when I have ordered a new injector from the same supplier to replace one of mine which has physical damage, I have also ordered 4 other orings and seals to use on the other injectors whilst i have it apart. This time both seals and washers have been supplied in individual LR bags as i would expect. I am now strongly suspecting that the washers supplied last time were not genuine and might actually be the cause/one of the causes of the air in my fuel again so soon after replacement. I will contact the supplier again to query this. Cheers, Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |

I bought all three to compare. The britpart ones are thicker than the LR branded ones. But the Bearmachs are identical.. you won't be able to tell the difference.
Rings.. the Bearmachs ones look a bit thicker.. Brit part look cheap |

Hardness is of importance too, not only size. If you're looking at 3rd party washers, then you might give Delphi a try, see
