Crankshaft bolt torque Discovery 200tdi
I have read its 260nm +.

I have the torque wrench but how on hell do you manage to torque it, I got the engine in gear and Defender blocked but still cannot torque it up. Neutral 1990 200tdi conversion 90

I made a locking tool that bolts to the damper and sits against the chassis rail (or floor), this stops the engine turning and then you can do it up.

Made myself a nice tool, what a doddle with this in place, torqued up 👍
