Are you planning to sleep in it? If so, how will you get enough height/length? 2014 Keswick Utility 2.2

Bezzitec do a single bed for a 90, but for two with gear, it's going to be cosy!! James

I'm interested in seeing what you come up with.
I just convinced the other half that we should drive around America for a year or so. Although I do plan to get a roof tent I want to figure out a way we could sleep inside if we really need to. |

There is a 90 camper conversion on eBay, but it looks like a one person affair for occasional use

So the dog guard comes out in two secs so thats that.
Then planning a full width board from bulkhead to say half way towards rear of tub. Fold seats forward to enable a second board to be slotted to 1st board then supported on transmission tunnel by removable bar/support. The ballache is board will have to be cut around steering wheel making her side of landrover snug ( but shes short and to be honest its for surf trips so will just be me). Next is two seperate boards, one for left of lr (my side) and one for right (hers). Now these connect to first board again but now complete bed at rear. These boards will be only as wide as shoulders so leave a gap in middle of rear of landrover. Again with removable support. Will fab one of those shelfs that will sit up in roof just after headlining like horizontally. The key is clever storage but will still have everything in the rear of tub from top of bulkhead down. Its hard to explain and understand the snugness but its only a couple of nights and will just pack light. Another reason for it is i tried to px the 90 for an absolutely gorgeous 110 utility but the main dealer offered me 6k less than i paid for it six months ago. And my 90 has only just hit 13k miles!!! Follow the photos and I promise it will make sense in the end |
