Done mine a few months back. 2011 build looked like they were recovered from the Titanic.
Replaced mine with stainless bolts and plenty of anti corrosion paste applied. Especially cover the front bolt it gets all the spray and muck. |

I don’t think it helps that the holes are slotted so there is space for cruddy water to sit in there and rust up the bolts. 2014 Keswick Utility 2.2

Yep you're right there. I fitted bigger washers in a attempt to try and stop this. Time will tell.

Good advice.....I checked mine which are three years old and were slightly corroded. Covered them in copper grease.... will order replacements though 2015 90 XS Santorini Black

Wow, over £3 each for an M8x100mm bolt.
You can get A2 stainless for less than £1 each. |

I haven't changed mine, but I did clean up and well Dinitrolled them.
