130 jacking points
Morning all,

Has anyone a solution to the rear jacking points on a 130. You can’t get a high lift close enough due to the overhanging rear tub. Thinking of a high lift product called lift mate.

Thanks 1951 80" S1 2.0

As ever with these things, it depends on what you want to lift the vehicle for. On the drive maintenance, changing a wheel in the field, casting or moving a vehicle sideways?

The lift mate is designed to allow a wheel to be lifted directly and so is of limited use for two of those examples.

A decent air jack may be a good compromise for field work. A bottle or trolley jack for home maintenance or roadside wheel changing.

One of those new ARB compact hydraulic hi-lifts might fit where a traditional hi-lift won't, but it is hugely expensive. Darren

I love the ARB but can’t face the cost.

Would be for recovery sorry meant to say. Wondering if the lift mate clips will fit into a wolf wheel hole? Anyone used them? 1951 80" S1 2.0

I had a lift mate years ago and, from memory, the hooks are pretty chunky. I'm not sure that they would work with Wolf wheels.

When you say 'recovery', do you mean lifting a wheel to put stuff under it? Jackable cills would be a good addition to use with a regular hi-lift. Alternatively again, an air jack. Darren

One of the reasons I went for the safari equip rock/tree sliders is that they have the jack points for a high lift. @tab.travels on instagram

My problem is the patriot ladder. Need it for access to all the stuff on the roof and currently uses the sill. Have emailed safari to ask if they can modify a set 1951 80" S1 2.0

Hmmm - that is problematic. D44 seem to be using a Hannibal ladder with the S E rock/tree sliders OK here - https://www.devon4x4.com/static/workshop/w.../roofrack/

But it looks like it's just resting on the tree slider, not sure. I've got the S E rock/tree sliders for a 130 sitting in my garage if you want to have a look at them Smile @tab.travels on instagram

Has anyone used a Hi Lift mate with Wolf wheels? Just wonder if the hooks fit in the round holes 1951 80" S1 2.0
