Just to update i bought a boost pin, just a cheapy off ebay to try, and installed it very easily. I would say there is an improvement although not earth shattering. I have now bought the boost ring though not installed it yet so will update when done. There is an interesting clip on Youtube from Fourby ( who sell them remember) showing a 25% increase on power when fitted to an old Discovery of theirs..

i have a 300tdi. a full width intercooler and silicone hosing increased my power by 20-25%, and increasing the size of the RAI tube and ensuring a min 3 inch through to the air cleaner box added a bit more. 110 Defender 300tdi & Penman trailer with ally exped top and roof tent

Have you changed the fuelling as well or i it just the fitment of the intercooler and hoses that have boosted our power?
