Have used a Wolf for ferrying medical staff around during the snow earlier in the year, was good to make a difference from the comfort of a defender

As with stanley, my Landy was pressed into service to get myself and a few others into the Ambulance station. I even had to go out and uplift a guy who owns a BMW X5 which is a ‘4x4’ , but due to having road tyres nearly 18” wide he was going nowhere. The benefits of making it into work include not only having to clear the Landy of snow, but then having to start all over again and try and dig out the Ambuances too ☹️ The cornices on the Ambulances were magnificent due to the East wind which brought the snow. A couple of pics of the day.

Wasn't in the Defender as I hadn't got around to fitting the rear seat belts but a friend and I spent a long weekend shuttling mid wives to and from St Peters in Chertsey. I took my FF and friend had his P38. They were extremely grateful and nominated us for a volunteering award. Ed

The NHS indirectly funds my Land Rovers.
