I was wondering if September-ish would be OK.
Harvest would be over, children back at school and the rugby and shooting seasons not fully under way. Maybe a few less tourists in the village and more room to park. However if people would prefer to come sooner, I would still be in. (If later, I'd be happy to put up a reminder thread nearer the time). |

I'm only about 15 miles away, so would be great! Weekends are fine with me, as I'm a teacher. Just can't do Burghley weekend - 1st & 2nd September. Thanks |

OK, so looking at Sundays that are possible for most people it seems we'll have to go for Sunday 23rd September.
If most can make that I'll put up a separate thread under a different title, to see who else might be interested. Finchingfield can get quite packed if the weather is good, so if there are enough vehicles to do a "parking rules" photo and there is not enough room in The Fox car park, we could pop a mile up the road (to a meadow I know ) to get them all together for a photo, before we disperse. Meanwhile, let's see who can do that date and take it from there? |
