I was going to tow my series one there with my Tdci. Unfortunately just after I connected the trailer to the Defender the elbow hose into the throttle body broke so with no spares available locally I drove the series one there instead. Got back lunchtime today having driven through all the welsh mountains in this hot weather, very glad to say the Series one didn't miss a beat for the whole 740 miles, phew! 2.2 90 XS
