cool, Ive been pondering what to do my black bits with, nice to know it does steering wheel too! now just need to search eBay for some "time".lolas thats the one thing i could really do with! not touched the 2a since getting it!! Very Happy My 109 thread

I have used the synstryp paint stripper as you say it does what it says on the tin, it’s deadly stuff however and needs treating with respect.
To fill on a couple of redundant holes in my 86 I used slkaflex to bond a round piece of ally on the back and then filled it. Many years later it’s still good but I have used the countersunk rivets method as well with good results.

Yes, gloves are a must! Shocked
I used it to strip layers of black paint off of the wooden beams at home,
There isn’t much it won’t strip!

I’ve bonded alloy top hat sectional strips behind wings and tubs with sikoflex,
To stiffen the panel up if they are slightly stretched.

I would have used it in this instance, but didn’t have any to hand,
So it had to be the old fashioned way. Laughing 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"
