independant garages south of toulouse
Hi

Sounding like i will need to replace the clutch on my 2007 tdci

Had a quick search to no avail.

Has anyone had first hand experience of a good independant garage south of toulouse. St Giron/Foix area preferably.

My local guy is enthusiastic but very little experience of land rover.

I needed an emergency clutch fit, and because my preferred indie was blocked for three months, I used a local guy who was also "enthusiastic but very little experience of land rover". Butchered fitting the new clutch, endless problems, lots of cash. If you can't find an indie, then local LR would always be safer. More dosh, but from my experience, less in the long run. Thumbs Up

45 mins east of Foix too far?

My local garage deals with lots of landrover owners and I’ve yet to find a fault despite sending him some cracking problems over the years!

I suspect these guys may be a bit far from you

They are just south of Valence.

They replaced my TD5 clutch with no problems when it went on holiday last year. They know their defenders.
Not cheap but got me out of trouble.

Riverboy of this parish recommended them to me, drop him a pm if you want more info.
