This is very tempting. I've just sold the Full Fat and am looking for something a bit more authentic!

I quite fancy the road trip to bring it over to Stockholm now i'm based here for the foreseable future.

Ade90, what's speed does it do "comfortably" on the motorway? will it take me a week to cover the 2000kms to get here?!
thx

Comfortably on the motorway she’ll sit at 60-65 mph.

I did B’ham to Newcastle and back last year in a day in the 110 and she ran lovely at c60-65 with the odd over take at 75-80mph.

The best thing about V8’s is the vibration and harshness levels are much lower that the older diesels and Tdi’s so long distance drives are much less tiring or maybe that’s because you have to stop for fuel more often Laughing . Perfect for road trip. Fixing Land Rovers for over 25 years..........and making excuses to the wife for almost as long Smile

I find my V8 Ninety very pleasant to drive, the only intrusion being a slight whine from the good old LT85 Smile

interesting point re diesel vs petrol.
i'll assume (hope) the mpg is at least on a par (i.e. not worse) than my old 2002 L322 4.4 petrol V8. I had to lie to the wife how much it cost to fill up each time Rolling with laughter

Glad your amazing vehicle has found a new home with a Forum member. Feel your pain as it is so difficult to let a special car go - even for the right reasons. The SO will be mightily relieved it didn’t end up on our drive much as I wanted it to.

Hi. I am the lucky new owner and can’t wait to pick the
landy up next week. Ade has been a gentleman to deal with and he’s
going to suggest some improvements so i will post pics from
time to time.
regards
yusuf

Well that’s the 110 gone off to it’s new home with Yusuf.

Yusuf is a great chap and I know the 110 is going to a good home.

It was painful watching/listening to it drive off......but then 5 mins later Yusuf is on the phone!!! Key to the padlock on the fuel tank filler had snapped off in the lock.

So I then have to watch Yusuf drive back onto our drive, a quick fix with a pair of pliers, and off he drives again Big Cry

I wish you many great adventures Yusuf Thumbs Up Fixing Land Rovers for over 25 years..........and making excuses to the wife for almost as long Smile

Well that was an adventure. Will start a post on the V8 section but I really want to thank Aidrian for his patience and help in sorting out the security and the broken key !! No sooner did he sort that out then the heavens opened up and I had an interesting journey back to Yorkshire ! 125 miles later and safely back home, the Landy got an approving nod from the wife and the kids love it. So much so that the 13 yr old wants to learn to drive in it !!
Thanks again !
