England 2014 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 HCPU Zambezi Silver
Pulsing/clicking noise from behind rev/speedo gauge
Hi all,

My 2.2 puma is making a noise from behind the speedo area. It sounds like a clicking noise and the green back light of the milometer dims slightly on every pulse?

Also, when i turn my lights on or wash my windscreen using the washer jets the battery light flickers for a split second and if the lights are already selected for full beam, it will turn on the abs and tc light, occasionally cutting out the engine and the alarm will then sound?

Hoping its all one probem?!

Any advice would be greatly received!

Thanks

Todd

Multiple issues such as you suggest sound like a common Earth fault.
In other words multiple circuits share the same earth which is why there appears to be multiple issues.

I believe there are earths to the top of the engine bay and also check the earth on the transfer box, the latter especially if you've had the transfer box off or a clutch change etc.

Thumbs Up ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️
