In my tiny village of 200 inhabitants, a selection of 110s all from Holland must have stopped for lunch in our famous little restaurant

How cool is that?
Which part of the Aude are you? I'll be passing through next week, the 6th, en route to Barcelona from the Alps. Classic A9 route, Béziers, Narbonne, Perpignan. Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

I’m 1.5 hours directly south of Carcassonne at 900m so just at the start of where all the ski slopes are.
Bring a boat, it’s not stopped raining for the last 3 weeks! |

I'll wave!! Same here, and unseasonably cold too. Just hoping it's warmer and drier in Mallorca as we are going for ten days of cycling. I've been unable because of the bad weather and am lacking valuable KMs for a Sportive later this summer. Monsieur Le Grenadier

Given you're close, are you going to the Land Rover festival in Comes, Spain? I'm planning on going. Monsieur Le Grenadier

If that’s the one next to Barcelona then I went last year so I’m not allowed again this year!
I’ve also sold the 110 to a client again, that’s 2 in the last year! I’m giving serious thought to BPMan’d fire and ice 110 but also seriously considering the new Golf R. I don’t know what to do |

Golf: great car, well built Defender: heaps and heaps of problems. I would Go for the defender a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover |

Having seen BP mans 110 in the flesh and can truthfully rep[ort that its immaculate!! lots of nice touches that make the vehicle better overall and its a fab colour scheme too ... he is OTT in looking after it so it would be a great buy ! "If that’s the one next to Barcelona then I went last year so I’m not allowed again this year!" Yup, same one. Not allowed by SWMBO or Banned by the organisers?
"I’m giving serious thought to BPMan’d fire and ice 110 but also seriously considering the new Golf R. I don’t know what to do" That's not a serious question, surely? At least not on this site.... In the last week, whilst the Def has been off the road and stripped for AirCon, Sound upgrade, insulation etc, I've driven an RS4, Audi TT, X5 etc etc. All modern, plush, fast and devoid of the character I get from the Def. Genuinely nothing is as rewarding to me. Bl**dy irritating, unreliable (for some), slow, noisy, expensive. But soulful. LOve it and cannot wait for my 8hr drive to Barca. Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

I have the unreliable car covered already in my DB9 which has less parts available and scary prices.
I had a MK1 gti many years ago as well as a 205gti and hanker after a buzz bomb for the mountain roads. But if I’m being honest, I’m probably going to buy BPmans 110. I already miss the defender and I’m sick to death of the Aston and it’s terrible build quality and scuttle shake |
