United Kingdom 1986 Defender 90 2.5 n/a Diesel SW Yellow
[For Sale] Defender bits and bobs clearout
Have the following I don't need any more, all plus postage, or collect from nr Sherborne Dorset:

(SOLD) Workshop manual - Defender TD5 1999 - 2006 (LRL0410BB) (same as here)
- including R380 and LT230T overhaul sections
£25

(SOLD) Electrical manual - Defender TD5 and 300tdi 1999 - 2006 (LRD5EHBB)

(SOLD) Parts catalogue - Defender 1987 - 2006 (STC9021CC) (same as here)
£30

All with a few fingerprints on the edges but undamaged and complete.

Or both Parts cat and Workshop man for £45.

Also:

Carling switch- Three position 20A switch, black (same as here)
Never fitted. Not 100% sure whether it's the Off-On-On or On-Off-On. But it's one or the other! If vital I can find out. I'd keep it but really not in keeping with either vehicle I have now. Have all the relevant labels so can put one on if you know what you're planning to use it for!
£10

More listed below, also might be interested in swaps for some items I need also listed below.

OK maybe a bit later than 'tomorrow'. Anyway, few more bits:

Defender cubby / seat box tray
Genuine, part no FHS500290PUY. Out of a 2013, very light use, in good shape.
£40

(SOLD) Defender 110 TD5 Dixon-Bate tow bar
Genuine, part no.LR007222 without slider / hitch.
Structurally sound, could do with a repaint. Off a 1998 110.
£20

Defender TD5 Air filter box to turbo rigid hose
Genuine, part no. PHD103990.
Good working order, with suitable hoseclips.
£30

Defender 90 (Puma) Dixon-Bate / LR tow bar, with ball tow-hitch slider, no pin
Genuine, I believe part number is VPLDT0084.
Good shape, some (very) superficial rust. Off a 2013 90.
£30

Defender TD5 MAF
Genuine used, good working order.
£30

Standard Land Rover farm jack
Genuine Land Rover (not HiLift) 'used' (never actually used, I hate them) - missing the arm pole, but has the spreader pad for the bottom. No guarantees as I won't even use it to test it after a hi-lift one snapped and nearly killed me.
Free to collect til next weekend then it's going in the scrap bin Smile

Defender rear folding step
Genuine Land Rover, part no STC7632, in good shape, bit of really superficial rust in the usual spots but nothing that wouldn't come off easily or affects it at all. Off a 2013 90.
£30

Will post any of the manuals, the MAF, the hose or the seat box tray at cost, all the rest available for collection from near-ish Sherborne Dorset. I can take paypal for stuff that's posted, or cash on collection. Big Red - 1968 S2a 109 3.5 carb V8 HT
Sunny - 1986 Ninety 2.5 NA SW [sold]
Beast - 1998 TD5 110 Special Vehicles utility [RIP]
Brutus - 2001 TD5 110 HT [sold - wish I hadn't!]

Also to note I'm happy to swap any of these things (plus or minus cash either way) for a Discovery steel wheel (NTC5193PM) that's structurally sound (don't care about appearance), as I've got 4 in decent nick and one rusted right through from the back (note to self, spare wheel covers are the devil's work!),

or a single (or matched pair of) 7.50R16 AT tyre of any kind with no cracks and a decent bit of tread still on them!

or a (complete) paper version of the genuine parts catalogue or workshop manuals for Series 2a or 1986 Ninety or overhaul / tuning manual (/similar) for Rover V8 (with SU carbs)

or a sound and not-very-rusty exhaust manifold for either Range Rover Classic V8 or 2.5 NA diesel. Big Red - 1968 S2a 109 3.5 carb V8 HT

United Kingdom 1989 Defender 90 300 Tdi CSW Arles Blue
I would be interested in both Dixon Bate parts if the 110 tow bar bracketry is compatible with a 90 Tdi rear crossmember and if the puma Dixon Bate slider is compatible with the above bracket.

Can anyone advise if this is the case?

Edit: Sorry, just noticed where you are - bit too far unless you could post? Matt.

As for fitting - looking at the Dixon-Bates website it looks like they're interchangeable which I wasn't expecting:

https://dixon-bate.co.uk/products/gb/land-...coup-.html

Don't take that as gospel, but it looks likely. As for the compatibility, I've just checked and the slider (it's a 1-pin) lines up perfectly on the 110 dropplate so that's fine.

The thing would cost a fortune to post I'm afraid, both parts weigh a ton and the dropplate is big where the side arms are permanently affixed to the plate itself. Big Red - 1968 S2a 109 3.5 carb V8 HT

Think I'll have to leave it then in that case, not sure on compatibility and it's too far to come and pick up.

Thanks for your help anyway Thumbs Up Matt.
