Id rather find a nice set of steels and have them banded that's all they are doing and have colour coded..

Given that these wheels are 18 inch rather than the usual 16, they're clearly a bit more than just banded. Darren

Maybe he's talking about the banded steels they had on the original twisted retro

I'm not sure I'd agree they got it wrong because there's clearly a market for their stuff and they have plenty of fanboys, no doubt lining up to buy them. However to my eyes although some Twisted kit is nice, a lot also looks pony. For example the Zunsport made grille kits are decent but before that they used kbx stuff which I thought hideous. Then there's the quilted leather interiors which are very popular but to me resemble a tarts boudoir. Even the wheels which get so much love on here look slightly off to me. I think it's deep dish and offset which reminds me of a pimped Vitara. But that's just me and wouldn't life be boring if we all liked the same things? One of the great things about Land Rover is the individuality and the different ways they are modified. Those Rostyles are still properly rubbish though. |

Still a bit off to me but I reckon they look better than the maxxtrac based originals. Hopefully the new ones are made in the UK.
On the upside, if you like the originals there may well be a slew of secondhand ones available as people upgrade. |
