BUT, if it is supposed to be the best kept secret why do they draw attention to it by making it looking like a zebra. everyone must stare!
A straight single colour paint job would be much more anonymous and wouldn`t attract attention - it would look, surprisingly enough like a RR to 99.99% of people. Maybe its a decoy to keep everyone speculating and the real one is anonymous. Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly! |

I think the patterns are to disguise the body lines so the general shape can still be made out but not it's design features

Just spotted this mule on test in the Peak District near Thorncliffe. Sorry about the bad quality photo but it's taken off my dash cam. I couldn't stop it was too foggy. Registration is VK67EYB Left hand drive. The second photo made me smile as one defender passes the next generation defender.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, that's just a mule made up of a hacked about body from another model to test the drivetrain. It doesn't represent what the new Defender will actually look like. Darren

Nothing wrong with having a modern Freelander, the Freelander was a good vehicle and they don't do anything small and fun anymore. |
