Keep it secure, this show has a history of theft.

My first time here, so I can't comment on previous years. Because of similar comments I specifically asked about security when booking my tickets.
Now on-site, and it seems there's a pretty reasonable security presence, doing their rounds. What scale is this show in comparison to others? Never been to any of them either. Smaller, I imagine? Must say was very impressed with the efforts made to keep the Defenderz safe, nice idea to have the enclosed parking area inside the show ground. Had a nice day out and even splurged on some Optimill hinges and Croy Tec goodies 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon

Yep, went yesterday with e family, enjoyed it..the parking arrangements seemed to work well, gates firmly closed to prevent exit until they had verified you against the details provided on entrance. Pete and the guys from BAS did me proud with a high-flow inter cooler and silicon hoses....the wee one was spoiled with a Peppa Pig, Pink LR hoodie...a grand day out! I went yesterday, found it a little disappointing. First year was OK, last year there seemed to be more stands and things to see. Seemed quieter this year. Less trade stands, less club stands. Was only there for a couple of hours and I think it could be a few years till I head back.

I agree the show was a little poorer in terms of exhibitors and trade stands. It seemed a bit less busy in terms of visitors on the day I was there (Saturday). Nonetheless, the weather was great and I enjoyed myself. I picked up a few bits and pieces at reasonable money and enjoyed chatting to the traders (maybe not all of them though!)
Three odd, used defender mats.. how much for one sir? £20! And that was passenger side that never wears out! Click image to enlarge The perfect Adventure accessory. Wait a minute, that’s not a Land Rover! Click image to enlarge It was great having a dedicated defender parking area, half the fun is looking at what people bring along and chatting to other owners. A couple of my favourites, mostly green I’m afraid!
