If you did find someone who was doing the opposite conversion and who was prepared to swap parts, why not change the rear tubs over as well?

I suppose because a roof swap could be done on a drive in a couple of hours one weekend; the tub trebles or quadruples the work.

Not sure I agree with your estimate, once everything above the waistline is off, the tub isn't difficult to remove.

I haven't done one before, but my mental list includes:
Wiring for lights Wheelarch spats (assuming that at least one vehicle has colour coded ones) Chassis fixings Rear x-member fixings Fuel filler What have I missed if anything? |
