Baldylocks, that wheel carrier is by Power Off Road here

Apart from the cost of importing one from S America Razz that style is illegal in Europe if you have seats in the back of the Land Rover

Just to clarify my earlier point. If you have seats in the back of a Defender the people in those seats must be able to exit via the rear door without outside assistance.

Swing away wheel carriers which open with the door are fine as no outside assistance is required for passengers in the rear to exit via the rear door.

There are several makers of two stage swing away wheel carrier. These include Allisport, Kaymar and Rijidij. Two stage action swing away wheel carriers need to be released and opened prior to opening the rear door as a second stage. These are OK for pickups and hard tops/USW but not for station wagons where the rear seats are accessed via the rear door.

The Allisport wheel carrier is about £8-900, the Kaymar is imported into Europe by Outback Import and is about £1,000.
