Engine Options
With diesels now being red headed step child, what is the consensus for petrol options ?

Personally I have a hankering for the 5.0 Litre supercharged LR-V8 550 hp from the RRS in a crew cab pickup variant with rear PTO.

Many premium manufacturers - including BMW and Mercedes-Benz - are shifting to a modular engine strategy, common to which is the 500cc-per-cylinder optimum capacity.

Hmm, the TD5 was supposed to be the first in family of four, five and six cylinder engines with, by chance, 500cc per cylinder... Darren

A nice basic (like that's ever going to happen) petrol engine that can run on anything coupled to a generator.
Everything then electric driven with a nice big battery pack that can also power my fridge.
