Don’t think it’ defender related looks like a scaffolding clip🤔 or some sort of exhaust bracket

Thanks Ibexman.
I did wonder if it was some sort of hose retainer - maybe one of the turbo or inter cooler hoses? I see what you mean about the scaffold clip but the metal is too thin and soft for it to be any use in that environment. Thanks, Pete. Drink Coffee, Talk to Strangers and Take Photos. |

It looks Land Rover ish in that it is galvanised and rusty or it maybe something that the drivers wheel has flicked up off the road and come to rest . Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

Spot on Def90. That’s it for sure. Well spotted.
I did have the hoses changed a while ago for Samco Silicon hoses so either this was surplus to requirements or it wasn’t put back properly. I also had a bigger inter cooler fitted so maybe it’s not needed? I’ll look into it but thanks again for identifying it. Pete. Drink Coffee, Talk to Strangers and Take Photos. |
