Hello
Would someone be so kind as to tell me what reference of the Bosch Aero is suitable for our Defender ? I have just tried a pair of Bosch AR13U, which I thought were the right ones, being 13 inches long (supposedly). Unfortunately, they happen to be almost 14 inches long. One of them hits the windscreen's rubber seal on the passenger side. This is obvious when compared to the LR ones : there actually is almost 1 inch difference. Thanks in advance ! Fabien |

I get mine from wiperblades.co.uk, their own brand. work fine, replace every year.
Autoexpress quite like them too. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/accessories-t...group-test |

Thank you all for these good tips I think I'm going to place an order for the "Aerowiper" from wiperblades.co.uk which, by the way, have quite a good choice indeed !
(Believe it or not, proper Defender wiper blades are not easy to find in France... unless you are happy with poor design / improper dimensions) |

Land Rover main dealers sell them. They're not very expensive in the UK, I expect they're similar pricing in FR. |

Yes, you're right ; as a matter of fact, I bought my last ones at a LR dealer's.
But I wouldn't call them "not expensive", considering that I had to pay around €15 each... plus the fact that they hardly lasted five months |

They're about £19 a pair from UK dealers. I replaced mine as a matter of routine after a year, but in reality there was nothing wrong with the ones I took off, but I suppose if you're in the south the heat will kill them quickly.
Another option is refills, I expect Norauto or some one will sell them. http://www.halfords.com/motoring/bulbs-bla...-refill-16 Replaces the worn rubber using the existing metalwork. Just cut them to length with a knife. |

Yes, refill would be a good option ! But, to be honest, the price isn't my only motivation : I'd also like to test flat blades to see whether they perform better (and last longer) than the good old conventional ones.
By the way, I'm not living in a particularly hot place but the fact is that I essentially use my Defender in summer : I almost never use my wipers, which perhaps make them deteriorate quicker... (or they just get so bored that they kill themselves ) |

mine wasn't used much last summer. they didn't deteriorate at all - to my surprise. I wonder why yours did.
