Teenager
Tomorrow is a big day, my daughter turns 13 and I become a parent / bank of choice to a teenager. Quite sobering. I can’t get that scene from Kevin and Perry out of my head Big Cry

My barometer for change is the cars, she absolutely loves the P38 and it was her suggestion to take the Heritage skiing. I’m guessing that they and I will soon become an embarrassment, and I’ll get asked to drop off around the corner!

Here she is at 6 months old, small enough to sit in the wheel of my 110 (a very tidy Epsom Green TD5 which I sadly rolled a year later...).

My twins (boy/girl) turned 13 in January although my son, in particular, had been doing a good impression of a teenager for quite some time before Rolling Eyes

I’m working for PlayStation at the moment, and much to annoyance of my 11 year old son we don’t have one!! I’m sure the pressure will build to get one in due course.

Great thread. Thumbs Up

I used to pick up my teenage step-daughter from the school bus in a SI 107" Statiion Wagon.

She always looked at me with contempt and was sulky all the way home.

Land Rovers were not quite so "cool" then.

She's 32 now and has never forgiven me. Shocked

When my daughter was about 12 she turned away and blanked me as I drove past the bus stop.

I told her that if she did that again I would stop, get on the bonnet and sing to her....Never did it again.

But she did always think and still does as a 21 year old student the Defender is the coolest car ever.
