...which could easily mean it's an old beaten up 924 with brown paint.
Or a tired old Boxster 2.7. Or a leggy lard edition 996 in gold. On the other hand it could be a 997.2 Turbo S in which case I'm now green. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion. |

nope, last of the air cooled, a 993 (tiptronic). I bought a 996 and hated it, it was like driving a fast toyota, nothing more. so got rid and kept the 993.

Yep - I like the 993 a lot.
996 was a tubby lump of frump ridden lard. 997 is back on form again. Which model? Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion. |

Used the Landy as a windbreak for the barby, then realised a windbreak would probably have been a cheaper option

Yep If you call caravanning camping I'm really roughing it just now, sitting here with a beer watching the sea swell and wondering if I should head home tomorrow to get my boat/fishing gear for the next couple of weeks that we are here

Summer tyres, plus better fuel economy when towing the van. Saying that, tomorrow the 305 AT's are going back on when I go home to get the boat. Much better traction and the landy doesn't sink as much in the soft sand when launching/recovering the boat in the sea swell
