United Kingdom 2009 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 SVX Soft Top Santorini Black
I recovered my dad in his broken Down Range Rover. I must say that when a range rover goes wrong they do it in style. Didnt want to go in to neutral or release the hand brake. All handy things for towing a vehicle.

Is that a roof tent or do you have a separate tent for sleeping?

I was fine in the tent. It was parked close to the 110 incase the bears arrived. But I was confident of my safety as I'm sure bears can't use zips, so would of been safe inside my zipped up tent Rolling with laughter 110 D250 SE HT

Finished off the rear crossmember/bumper - the holes had corroded a bit so wire wooled, Hammerited then finished with Matt black spray paint. Have to say that I'm rather pleased with the result - looks far better now! Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.

Finally got hold of some Wurth Corrosion Protection Spray. I came across it a year when a mate took his newly acquired rare, mint, low mileage V8 110 into Dunsfold DLR for a check over. They sprayed this stuff over all the bits that you want protecting but don't want mucky brown stuff like Waxoyl or Dinitrol etc plastered everywhere. It is clear and dries as a polish.

I have just used a whole can under the bonnet, interior (doing all the screws and nuts that rust up in no time at all, exterior door hinge screws, unpainted rivet's etc etc!

I got my stuff from Performance Motor Care products but it was £16 a can and I'm sure you could get it cheaper elsewhere Rolling Eyes
